What's inside

What's inside a Counterparty Report

The findings outcome

One clear result in plain English — no adverse findings, findings to review, or a straight admission that a check couldn't be completed. Every finding sourced and dated.

Director track record

Every other appointment on record, with each company's recorded outcome and the date it happened. Dated facts, never a characterisation of the person.

Adverse events

Insolvency and winding-up notices, outstanding and satisfied charges, overdue statutory filings, and disqualifications.

Sanctions screening

The company, its number and every current officer screened against the UK Sanctions List. A possible match is never auto-released — it goes to a person first.

VAT verification

Optional. Confirm the VAT number on an invoice really belongs to this company — the most common invoice-fraud check there is.

Premium adds ownership

PSC and beneficial ownership, an executive summary and cover, and a sources & methodology appendix built for a file.

Standard or Premium?

Same registers, same outcome. Premium adds ownership detail and the documentation a file — or a court — expects.

What a Counterparty Report is not

It is not a credit reference, a credit score, or a prediction that a company will pay you. It is what the official registers record about a company and its officers, on the dates we read them, assembled and cross-checked so you don't have to. We never editorialise about a named individual, and we hold anything material for a person to check before it reaches you.
